Artist's Description
This prison closed in 1971 but is open for tours and photography.
Eastern State Penitentiary in Philadelphia was once the most famous and expensive prison in the world, but stands today in ruin, a haunting world of crumbling cellblocks and empty guard towers. Its vaulted, sky-lit cells once held many of America's most notorious criminals, including "Slick Willie" Sutton and "Scarface" Al Capone. .

CAMERA EQUIPMENT My cameras of choice is the full spectrum converted Olympus OMD M5 Mark II. I also use a medium format Pentax 645Z digital.
