The Redwood National and State Parks are located in the United States, along the coast of northern California. Comprising Redwood National Park and California's Del Norte Coast, Jedediah Smith, and Prairie Creek Redwoods State Parks, the combined RNSP contain 133,000 acres. Located entirely within Del Norte and Humboldt Counties, the four parks, together, protect 45% of all remaining coast redwood (Sequoia sempervirens) old-growth forests, totaling at least 38,982 acres. These trees are the tallest and one of the most massive tree species on Earth. I added a painterly quality to enhance the tree. Click on the image to view the beautiful effect.

I love Photographing the natural landscape as well as a variety of other scenes in our world. I have been photographing for 15 years. I have witnessed the simple grandeur of creation and the miracles that surround us in the natural world. Many of my photographic images capture the magic of the wilderness, pure and simple.
